Uniquely faceted worlds

Liz Delton started Tourmaline & Quartz with a planner and stack of fantasy books. She is the author of over a dozen books, a mom of two somewhat wild children, and an avid tea drinker. Having received a BFA in Theater Management at the University of the Arts, she has always enjoyed the backstage life of storytelling.

Tourmaline & Quartz started off as an imprint to publish her fantasy and nonfiction work. With expansion on the horizon, sign up for the T & Q newsletter to be the first to find out about new projects and opportunities. T & Q is all about uniquely faceted worlds, and creating fascinating stories to escape into.

At this time, we are not yet accepting unsolicited manuscript submissions.

Why tourmaline and quartz?

Gemstones have always been seen by many cultures as mystical objects, and these two particular stones represent opposing forces of light and dark.

Black tourmaline is said to repel negative energy, whereas clear quartz embodies power. Additionally, the black and white of the stones is a call to the black and white words on the page, and a reflection on contrast.
